Freelance EHS Advisor

Project Duration: Q1 2025 - Minimum Q3 2027 (with potential extension until the end of 2028)
Join a leading global contractor engaged in building advanced data centers in Frankfurt, including a pivotal 2 x 17.5 MW substation project.
Your Role:
As an EHS Consultant, you will play a critical role in addressing EHS requirements directly in the field and within contracts. Your diplomatic approach will facilitate effective communication and collaboration with general contractors, trade partners, and subcontractors to ensure safe working conditions.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement EHS Requirements: Ensure stringent adherence to EHS regulations and standards in all field operations.
- Advise Stakeholders: Provide expert guidance to general contractors and subcontractors on safety and compliance measures.
- Liaise Effectively: Build strong relationships with all parties involved to promote a culture of safety and cooperation.
- Hands-On Approach: Utilize your practical operational experience to address challenges and implement solutions directly on-site.
Key Experience:
- Extensive Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in EHS management, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to diplomatically engage with diverse stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety.
- Fluent in English: Mandatory fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Problem Solver: Practical operational experience with a proactive approach to addressing EHS challenges.
