HSE Manager (Facility Management Company)
We are seeking experienced HSE Managers to oversee and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across five key locations in France: Gentilly, Aramon, Marcy-l'Étoile, Tours, and Vitry. These full-time, on-site roles offer the opportunity to lead and promote a strong safety culture within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
As an HSE Manager, you will:
- Supervise a team of HSE Coordinators and ensure adherence to HSE regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and specific client requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop prevention plans, including the creation of the Single Document Risk Assessment, prevention plans, loading/unloading protocols, and work permits.
- Manage subcontractor activities by reviewing risk assessments, verifying compliance through inspections, and conducting audits.
- Prepare and oversee internal and external HSE audits.
- Lead safety awareness initiatives such as training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Analyze and report on HSE performance indicators and contribute to regulatory updates.
- Investigate incidents and ensure follow-through on corrective measures.
Your Profile
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in HSE management, preferably in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of French HSE regulations and industrial risk management (ATEX, confined spaces, chemical risks, working at heights).
- Certifications: ISO 14001 and 45001 proficiency, engineering degree in HSE or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).
- Valid Category B driver’s license.
- Additional Training (Preferred): Certifications in fire safety, SST, ATEX, GIES, or electrical safety (H0B0).
