Your Role:

As Oberarzt (Senior Physician) in Pathology, you will:

• Perform and supervise diagnostics in histopathology, cytology, and molecular pathology.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior doctors, laboratory staff, and medical students.
• Collaborate in research projects and contribute to scientific publications.
• Maintain and enhance quality standards within the department.
• Assist in the strategic development of the department, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s goals.

Your Profile:

• Medical degree with an EU board certification in Pathology (Facharzt in Pathology or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in diagnostic pathology, with expertise in one or more subspecialties (e.g., oncological pathology, neuropathology, etc.).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in German (C1 or higher); proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage.
• A passion for teaching, innovation, and continuous professional development.
