I am currently partnering with a global leader in laboratory diagnostics to recruit for a Laboratory Specialist with an FAMH in Microbiology. You will leverage your expertise to perform complex analyses, validate new assays, and ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy in laboratory testing.

You will leverage your expertise to perform complex analyses, validate new assays, and ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy in laboratory testing.
Your day to day:
- Perform a wide range of validation and analysis's in the field of Microbiology.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Microbiology, providing guidance and support to laboratory staff and healthcare professionals.
- Lead validation studies for new laboratory assays, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor quality control measures and participate in proficiency testing programs to maintain accreditation and certification.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret test results, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize laboratory workflows.
You should apply if:
- FAMH certification in Microbiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven experience in a clinical or research microbiology laboratory setting.
- In-depth knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory procedures.
- Fluent in German and English, French is a bonus.
