Position: CAPEX Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager specializing in CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) to lead a major investment project with a leading life sciences organization in Valais. The successful candidate will manage the development of a new production building and the renovation of existing facilities. This role requires a skilled leader with a strong background in life sciences projects, who is adept at managing large teams and complex budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of major CAPEX projects within the life sciences sector.
- Manage a project team of 20-50 professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Coordinate the construction of a new production facility and the renovation of existing structures.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Solve complex problems and mitigate risks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and success.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including clients and team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the life sciences sector.
- Proven track record managing projects with budgets of at least CHF 200,000.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management, including leading and motivating teams.
- Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and problem-solving.
- Fluent in French and German or English and German (knowledge of all three languages is highly preferred).
