Senior Bioinformatician

Our client, an innovative biotech company in Freiburg area is looking for an experienced bioinformatician to join their team. You would be working with different departments and advancing research to cure cancer! 

The company offers a very nice working atmosphere, with flexible hours and a 40% remote working policy. 

Your tasks: 

- You will be developping and maintaining workflows using languages such as Phyton and R. 
- You will be integrating different data sources (online databases, in house repesitories) and insuring FAIR principles
- You will have project management responsibilites, working with crossfunctional teams and making sure biological concepts are translated into accurate computational models
- Improve drug discovery workflows, focused on antibody specificity
- Maintening Bioinformatic documentation and reviewing data
 

Your profile:

- Study in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or similar
- At least 3 years experience in the industry 
- Good knowledge of Phyton and R.
- Experience with bioinformatic databases (PSQL)
- English fluent, German is a plus but not necessary
